4 Getting started

4.1 Installation tips

•
Turn off all devices (displays and HDMI sources) before connecting them to the
Connect 642 Pro™. If a device cannot be turned off, please remove its plug from
the wall socket.
•
For the best image and audio quality, only use Premium High Speed HDMI®
certified cables, to support HDMI 2.0 specifications.
•
Please be careful when connecting your HDMI cables. These can damage easily.

1. Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI sources (such as a game console, Blu-
ray player or digital TV decoder) to the HDMI ports [1] marked "Input 1, 2, 3 or 4".
2. Use an HDMI cable to connect the TV or projector to the HDMI ports [2] marked
"Output A or B".
3. Connect the power adapter to the "DC 12V" input [5] and insert the plug into the
socket.
