Intended use
The product serves to amplify announcements, record and reproduce announcements, warn-
ing tones, music signals, etc. at meetings, demonstrations, sports events, etc.
The device is powered via a built-in rechargeable battery and must only be charged via a USB
power supply. This USB power supply must be able to deliver the current listed in the "Techni-
cal data" section.
Any use other than that described above can cause damage to this product and involves the
possibility of hazards such as hearing damage, short circuit, fire, etc.

a) General information
• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• This product is designed for private use only and is not intended for commercial
or industrial use.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the prod-
uct is not permitted.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a danger-
ous plaything for children.
• The product must be protected from exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity,
direct sunlight, strong vibrations, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Only use the product in a moderate climate, never in tropical climates.
• Handle the product carefully. It can be damaged by impact, blows, or by being
dropped, even from a low height.
• Never expose the product to any excessive mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorised use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Discontinue use of the device in the event of malfunctions, defects or after a fall
and have it repaired by a specialist. Improper repairs can be hazardous to the
user.
• Consult a specialist if you have any doubts regarding the use or safety of the
product.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be carried out by a technician or a
specialist repair centre.
• If you are not sure about how to connect or operate the device, or if questions arise
which are not covered by the operating instructions, contact our technical support
or another specialist.
• Moreover, observe the additional safety instructions in each individual section of
these instructions.
b) Rechargeable battery
• The built-in battery must only be charged when inside the device. Never use an
external charger and never charge the battery outside of the megaphone.
• The rechargeable battery may only be charged via the USB connection of a USB
power supply with a suitable load capacity (see "Technical data" section). Using
another power supply with a different charging current may damage the device
and cause the built-in battery to overheat, catch fire or explode.
c) Operation
• The product generates very high acoustic pressure, direct exposure to which can
cause hearing damage. Therefore, please use the device responsibly and do not
point it directly at people or animals. The product must be operated at a sufficient
distance from people and animals.
• Never use the device in small rooms.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations on accident prevention,
noise protection, etc., when operating the device in public areas. As the operator,
you must obtain information from the authorities in charge and you are responsible
for observing the applicable laws and regulations.
Rechargeable battery
Make sure the battery is charged via the USB power supply with an output voltage
of 5 V DC and a minimum current carrying capacity of 500 mA. Non-compliance with
these requirements may damage the USB power supply or the megaphone.
Fully charge the battery before using the device for the first time. The charging time
is approx. 9 hours.
Charge the battery on a regular basis, even when you are not using the device (at
least once every two months). Failure to charge the battery regularly may cause the
battery to overdischarge, which can cause permanent damage.
a) Inserting/removing the battery
• Open the battery compartment on top of the housing.
• Insert the battery (when not yet inserted) into the battery compartment with the correct
polarity. The correct polarity is indicated by inscriptions on the battery compartment.
• Close the battery compartment.
b) Charging the battery
• Plug one end of the USB charging cable (included) into the INPUT 5V/DC port.
• Plug the other end of the USB charging cable into the USB output of the USB power supply
that serves to charge the battery.
• Battery charging starts when the USB charging cable is connected and the USB power
supply is tuned on.
• The blue LED indicates that the battery is charging.
• Once the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator goes off.
Operation
a) General information
• Pressing the "ON/OFF" button turns the megaphone on or off.
• The blue LED indicates that the megaphone is on.
• Press the VOL+ or VOL- buttons to adjust the volume.
• Speak into the microphone above the control panel to make an announcement.
b) Record function
The maximum recording time is approx. 240-300 seconds.
• Make sure you turn the volume to minimum with the VOL- button before recording.
• Press the REC button and speak into the microphone to make an announcement.
• The LED indicator flashes blue during recording.
• Pressing the REC button again stops recording.
• Press the PLAY button to play the recording.
• The recorded message will be played back in repeat mode.
• Pressing the PLAY button again stops the playback.
