• The barbecue becomes hot when lit. Keep children and pets at a
safe distance.
• WARNING! Accessible parts may be very hot. Keep young children away.
• Do not move the barbecue when it is lit or hot – wait until the barbecue
has cooled.
• Let the barbecue cool before cleaning it.
• Use oven mitts and barbecue utensils to avoid burns when barbecuing.
• Do not use primers such as lighter fl uid for gas barbecues.
• Do not leave a lit or hot barbecue unattended.
• Make sure that fl ammable gases, liquids (such as gasoline, alcohol) and
other fl ammable materials are placed a safe distance from the barbecue.
• The barbecue is only intended for making food. Never use the barbecue
for purposes other than for which it is intended, for example, as a heat
source or for heating objects.
• NOTE! Meat with a high fat content may cause fl are-ups.
• The barbecue must be regularly cleaned of grease/oil, otherwise the
risk that the fat starts to burn is big. If grease catches fi re, turn off all
burners, turn off the gas and leave lid closed until fi re is out.
• The hose and regulator must be tested for leaks before starting bar-
becuing. See the section CHECKING FOR LEAKS.
• Worn or damaged hoses must be replaced immediately. We recom-
mend that the regulator kit be replaced every other year to ensure that
the hose is in good condition.
• The barbecue is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or who have limited
experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed in
using the barbecue by someone responsible for their safety. Children
must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the barbecue.
• The barbecue and gas cylinder must be connected to a CE-approved
regulator and hose with correct operating gas pressure.
• Using an improper regulator or hose is dangerous and can lead to
personal injury.
• The hose must be a maximum of 1.5 m long. Worn or damaged hoses
must be replaced.
• The barbecue may only be used with an approved regulator kit and
comply with EN16129 with current version and national regulation.
