Operation
►
Plug in the appliance and place it on
a level, heat­resistant surface or on
the storage bag. Close and lock the
appliance. Slide button 1 must be at
►
Turn on with on/off switch. LEDs one
and two will glow and the third will flash.
The default temperature setting of the
appliance is 150 °C.
►
As soon as the set temperature is
reached, the LEDs will glow continuously.
You can now start curling or straightening
your hair.
Setting the temperature
By pressing the + or – button you can
change the temperature setting in 25 °C
steps from approx.100 ­ 200 °C. The current
temperature is indicated by the glowing
LEDs. The LED for the set temperature
flashes until this temperature is reached.
If the temperature falls momentarily during
use, the appliance will heat back up again
(LED flashes).
Automatic shut­off
These curling tongs with hair straightener
have an automatic shut­off safety feature.
After approx. 30 minutes the appliance
automatically switches to standby mode.
Only the third LED glows.
To reactivate the appliance, the + or –
button must be pressed. The appliance
automatically reverts to the default 150°C
temperature setting and can be used as
normal.
Use
Risk of burns!
Never allow appliance to come into
contact with skin (scalp or ears).
You can use this appliance to straighten or
to curl your hair.
– Only use the appliance on dry hair.
– Use only on untreated, healthy hair.
– Use less frequently on chemically treated

. hair (perm, colour rinse).
Curling your hair (Figs. A­B)
The appliance must be closed and locked.
Note: Fine hair responds very quickly to
the treatment. The even heat emission is
especially gentle on the hair.

Comb the hair and section it into even
strands (about 2-3 cm wide). The finer
the strands, the tighter the curl, as all the
hair comes into contact with the heated
curling tongs.

Open the curling tongs by pressing on the
clip.
►
Insert the strand of hair and close the clip
again.
►
Now pull the curling tongs down to the
ends of the hair and turn to wind up the
strand.
►
Leave the curling tongs in the hair for a
few seconds to shape the curl.
►
Release the strand of hair by repeatedly
opening the lever with small movements
while removing the curling tongs
sideways.
N.B.: Make sure that the curl is not pulled
straight when removing the curling tongs.
