Transport

• Observe local traffic regulations at all times.
The maximum transport speed is 30 km/h. Do not exceed this speed. Never drive at
•
speeds where you do not have sufficient control of the vehicle or of its braking. Rough
terrain requires lower speeds.
Sudden braking can cause towed equipment to swing and tip. Reduce speed.
•
Slowly driving tractors, self-propelled equipment and towed equipment can present a
•
danger when driven on public roads. They are difficult to see, particularly at night.
Flashing warning lights and signal lights are recommended at all times when driving on
•
public roads.
Do not carry passengers on the machine
Passengers block the user's view, can be struck by foreign objects or be flung from the
•
machine.
Do not allow children to use the machine or equipment.
•

Maintenance

Understand the procedure before commencing with the work. Use the correct tools
•
and equipment. See the user manual for further information.
Do the work in a clean, dry area.
•
Lower the flail mower to the ground, put the tractor into parking with the handbrake
•
engaged, switch off the engine and remove the ignition key before carrying out any
kind of maintenance.
Allow the equipment to cool completely.
•
Do not lubricate the equipment while it is operating.
•
• Check all parts. Make sure that they are good condition and correctly fitted.
Remove accumulated grease, oil and dirt.
•
Remove all tools and any surplus parts from the equipment before operating the
•
equipment.

Be prepared in the event of an accident

Be prepared in the event of a fire.
•
Make sure that you have a first aid box and a fire extinguisher close at hand.
•
Make sure that you have telephone numbers for a doctor, ambulance and fire services
•
close at hand.
