Steam iron Use instructions
Filling the water tank
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet before filling the water tank.
Keep the iron in a horizontal position.
Slowly pour the water through the appropriate hole, using the supplied measuring cup.
Be careful not to overfill the tank (see the mark), to prevent the water from escaping.
Note: the iron is designed for use with tap water, however, if the water is very hard, it is advisable to use
a mixture of distilled water and tap water.
It is advisable to empty the water tank after each use, in order to avoid the formation of limescale, mold and bad
odours. It is recommended to allow the iron to cool for a few minutes before emptying the tank.
Spray
As long as there is enough water in the water tank, you can use the "Spray" button regardless of the set tempe-
rature, and that ironing steam or dry.
When using the iron for the first time, it is advisable to press the "Spray" button a few times before obtaining an
adequate spray, as the water must be able to fill the circulation pipes before exiting.
Steam ironing
Set the thermostat knob to the position "● ●" or "● ● ●".
Set the steam adjustment button to the desired position.
Caution: take care not to come into contact with the expelled steam. Do not direct the steam jet to-
wards people and / or animals.
Warning: if the water in the tank runs out during use, wait until the iron has cooled down before
filling it again.
Dry ironing
The steam iron can also be used dry with or without water in the water tank. However, it would be better to avoid
filling the water tank while ironing.
Set the steam control button to the minimum position.
Set the thermostat knob to the most suitable temperature for the fabric to be ironed.
Steam shot
The steam shot is used to remove the most stubborn creases.
Set the thermostat knob to the position "● ●" or "● ● ●".
Set the steam setting button to the maximum position.
Press the steam shot button.
Note: to avoid water leaking from the plate, do not hold the steam shot button for more than 5 seconds.
End of ironing
When you finish ironing set the thermostat knob to the minimum position.
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
Put the iron upright.
Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning the iron, make sure that it is unplugged from the power supply and completely cooled.
It is recommended not to use abrasive detergents.
Self clean (auto-cleaning)
Fill half of the water tank.
Set the thermostat knob to the maximum position and the steam setting button to the minimum position.
Insert the power cord into the wall socket.
Let the iron warm up until the light switches off.
Holding the iron in a horizontal position above the sink, place the steam selector in the maximum position, press
the "Self Clean" button.
