Mischpult anschließen

Vor dem Anschließen von Geräten an das Mischpult

bzw. vor dem Ändern bestehender Anschlüsse das
Mischpult und alle anderen Audio-Geräte ausschal-
CH
ten.
4.1 Eingänge
Die Tonquellen an die entsprechenden Buchsen der
Eingangskanäle anschließen:
- Mikrofone bzw. andere niederohmige Mono-Si-
gnalquellen mit geringen Ausgangspegeln an die
Buchsen MIC (11)
- Mono-Geräte mit Line-Pegel (z. B. Effektgerät, Mu-
sikinstrument) an die Mono-Eingänge LINE (10)
oder an die Buchse L der Stereo-Eingänge LINE (9)
- Stereo-Geräte mit Line-Pegel (z. B. Syntheziser,
Keyboard) an die Stereo-Eingänge LINE (9):
Buchse L = links, Buchse R = rechts
Die Aux-Return-Buchsen 1 und 2 (12) sowie die
Buchsen TAPE IN (17) können auch als zusätzliche
Stereo-Line-Eingänge genutzt werden (bei Anschluß
eines Mono-Gerätes an einen Aux-Return-Eingang
die Buchse L verwenden). Die Signale der an diesen
Buchsen angeschlossenen Geräte werden mit den
Reglern (26) und (24) auf die Stereosumme L/R ge-
mischt.
4.2 Ausgänge
1) Am Haupt-Summenausgang MAIN OUT (15) steht
das mit den Summenreglern (27) ausgesteuerte
Gesamtsignal zur Verfügung. Den Endverstärker
bzw. ein nachfolgendes Mischpult oder Zusatz-
gerät an diesen Ausgang anschließen.
2) Für Tonaufnahmen kann an die Buchsen TAPE
OUT (16) ein Aufnahmegerät angeschlossen wer-
den. Das Aufnahmesignal wird nach den Sum-
menreglern (27) abgegriffen.
Der Pegel des Aufnahmesignals ist um 6 dB
geringer als der Ausgangspegel am Haupt-Sum-
menausgang MAIN OUT (15).
3) Die Gesamtpegel aller Eingangskanäle vor den
beiden Summenreglern kann über einen Stereo-
controllable return inputs enable the remixing of the

Connecting the Mixer
Before connecting any devices to the mixer resp.
before altering existing connections, switch off the
mixer and all other audio devices.
4.1 Inputs
Connect the audio sources to the corresponding
jacks of the input channels:
- Microphones or other low impedance mono signal
sources with low output levels to the jacks MIC (11)
- Mono devices with line level (e. g. effect units,
musical instruments) to the mono inputs LINE (10)
or to jack L of the stereo inputs LINE (9)
- Stereo devices with line level (e. g. synthezisers,
keyboards) to the stereo inputs LINE (9): jack L =
left, jack R = right
The Aux Return jacks 1 and 2 (12) as well as the
jacks TAPE IN (17) can also be used as additional
stereo line inputs (when connecting a mono device to
an Aux Return input, use jack L). The signals of the
devices which are connected to these jacks are
mixed with the controls (26) and (24) to the stereo
master output L/R.
4.2 Outputs
1) At the main master output MAIN OUT (15) the
total output signal is available which is controlled
by the master faders (27). Connect the final ampli-
fier resp. a subsequent mixer or additional device
to this output.
2) For audio recordings, a recording device can be
connected to jacks TAPE OUT (16). The recording
signal is taken off after the master faders (27).

danz ≥ 8 Ω) in die Buchse PHONES (23) stecken.
4) Weitere Zusatzgeräte mit Line-Pegel können an
die beiden Aux-Summenausgänge 1 und 2 (13
+ 14) angeschlossen werden. An diesen Mono-
Ausgängen werden die Signalsummen der Aus-
spielwege Aux 1 und Aux 2 aus dem Mischpult her-
ausgeführt:
- Der Aux 1-Ausspielweg ist „pre fader" geschal-
tet [d. h. die Kanalsignale werden vor den Fa-
dern (1) abgegriffen] und kann als Monitor- oder
Effektweg genutzt werden: Den Verstärker der
Monitoranlage bzw. den Eingang des nachfol-
gendes Effektgerätes an die Buchse AUX
SEND 1 (13) anschließen.
- Der Aux 2-Ausspielweg ist „post fader" geschal-
tet [d. h. die Kanalsignale werden hinter den
Fadern (1) abgegriffen]. „Post fader"-Ausspiel-
wege werden vorrangig als Effektwege genutzt:
Den Eingang des nachfolgendes Effektgerätes
an die Buchse AUX SEND 2 (14) anschließen.
Soll das durch das Effektgerät geschleifte Aux-
Summensignal wieder zurück in das Mischpult
geführt werden, siehe folgendes Kap. 4.3 „Geräte
einschleifen".
5) Die Signale der Mono-Kanäle 1 bis 4 können auch
über die Insert-Buchsen (8) ausgekoppelt werden
(z. B. zu Monitor- oder Aufnahmezwecken): „pre
fader" bei Kanal 3 und 4, wahlweise „post fader"
oder „pre fader" bei Kanal 1 und 2.
Den Eingang des Gerätes über einen Mono-
Klinkenstecker an die Insert-Buchsen anschließen.
Je nachdem, wie weit der Stecker in die Buchse
gesteckt wird, ergeben sich unterschiedliche An-
wendungsmöglichkeiten:
- Wird der Stecker nur so weit in die Buchse
gesteckt, daß er einmal einrastet, wird der Si-
gnalfluß im Kanalzug nicht unterbrochen.
- Wird der Stecker in seiner ganzen Länge in die
Buchse gesteckt, so daß er zweimal einrastet,
wird der Signalfluß im Kanalzug unterbrochen:
Das Signal wird am Signalabgriffspunkt aus
dem Mischpult herausgeführt und nicht auf die
Stereosumme gemischt.

3) The total level of all input channels before the two
master faders can be monitored via stereo head-
phones. Connect the headphones (impedance ≥
8 Ω) to jack PHONES (23).
4) Further additional devices with line level can be
connected to the two Aux master outputs 1 and 2
(13 + 14). The master signals of the Aux 1 and
Aux 2 Sends are routed out of the mixer from
these mono outputs:
- The Aux 1 Send is switched "pre fader" [i. e.
channel signals are taken off before the faders
(1)] and can be used as monitor or effect send:
Connect the amplifier of the monitor system
resp. the input of the subsequent effect unit to
jack AUX SEND 1 (13).
- The Aux 2 send is switched "post fader" [i. e. the
channel signals are taken off after the faders
(1)]. "Post fader" sends are mainly used as
effect sends: connect the input of the subse-
quent effect unit to the jack AUX SEND 2 (14).
If the Aux master signal which was fed through the
effect unit is to be refed into the mixer, refer to the
following chapter 4.3 "Insertion of devices".
5) The signals of the mono channels 1 to 4 can also
be taken off at the insert jacks (8) (e. g. for moni-
toring or recording purposes): "pre fader" at chan-
nels 3 and 4, alternatively "post fader" or "pre
fader" at channels 1 and 2.
Connect the input of the device via a mono
plug to the insert jacks. Depending on how deep
the plug is inserted into the jack, the following
applications are possible:
- if the plug is only inserted into the jack to such
an extent that it locks once, the signal trans-
mission within the channel is not interrupted.
- if the plug is fully inserted into the jack, so that
it locks twice, the signal transmission in the
channel is interrupted: The signal is routed out
of the mixer at the signal take off point and not
mixed to the stereo master output.
4.3 Geräte einschleifen
Sowohl über die Aux-Send- und -Return-Anschlüsse
als auch über die Insert-Buchsen der Mono-Kanäle
1 bis 4 ist es möglich, Signale aus dem Mischpult
auszukoppeln, durch ein angeschlossenes Effektge-
rät (z. B. Equalizer, Hallgerät, Kompressor) zu schlei-
fen und wieder in das Mischpult zurückzuführen.
4.3.1 Einschleifen über die Insert-Buchsen
Bei dem Einschleifen eines Mono-Effektgerätes in
einen der Kanäle 1 bis 4 wird das Kanalsignal über
die Insert-Buchse (8) ausgekoppelt und über diesel-
be Buchse wieder zurückgeführt.
Zum Anschließen des Gerätes ein Y-Kabel (1 Ste-
reo-Klinkenstecker auf 2 Mono-Klinkenstecker), z. B.
MCA-202 von MONACOR, verwenden. Den Stereo-
Stecker in die Buchse INSERT (8) stecken und die
beiden Mono-Stecker mit dem Ein- und Ausgang des
Effektgerätes verbinden (siehe Abb. 3).

4.3.2 Einschleifen über die Aux-Wege 1 und 2
1) Zum Einschleifen eines Effektgerätes in den
Aux 1-Weg („pre fader"-Weg) den Eingang des
Effektgerätes an den Ausgang AUX SEND 1 (13)
anschließen und den Ausgang des Effektgerätes
an den Eingang AUX RTN 1 (12a).
2) Zum Einschleifen eines Effektgerätes in den
Aux 2-Weg („post fader"-Weg) den Eingang des
Effektgerätes an den Ausgang AUX SEND 2 (14)
anschließen und den Ausgang des Effektgeräts
an den Eingang AUX RTN 2 (12b).
Zur Rückführung der ausgekoppelten Signale in das
Mischpult können auch freie Eingangskanäle genutzt
werden. Dies bietet die Möglichkeit, das vom Effekt-

Via the Aux Send and Return connections as well as
via the insert jacks of the mono channels 1 to 4 it is
possible to take off signals off the mixer, to feed the
signals through a connected effect unit (e. g. equal-
izer, reverb unit, compressor) and back to the mixer.
4.3.1 Inserting via the insert jacks
When inserting a mono effect unit into one of the
channels 1 to 4, the channel signal is taken off and
also fed back via the insert jack (8). For connecting
the device use a Y cable (1 stereo plug to 2 mono
plugs), e. g. MCA-202 by MONACOR. Connect the
stereo plug to jack INSERT (8) and connect the two
mono plugs with the input and output of the effect unit
(refer to fig. 3).

4.3.2 Inserting via the Aux Sends 1 and 2
1) For inserting an effect unit into the Aux 1 Send
("pre fader" send), connect the input of the effect
unit to output AUX SEND 1 (13)and the output of
the effect unit to input AUX RTN 1 (12a).
2) For inserting an effect unit into the Aux 2 Send
("post fader" send), connect the input of the effect
unit to output AUX SEND 2 (14) and the output of
the effect unit to input AUX RTN 2 (12b).
For feeding the signals which were taken off back into
the mixer, free input channels may also be used. Thus,
it is possible to process the signal which comes from
the effect unit with the tone controls (6) of the channel.
4.4 Power supply
Connect the mains cable to the cold appliance plug
(29), and the mains plug of the cable to a mains
socket (230 V~/ 50 Hz).
