- Seite 3 MMX-1221/-1621/-2021 BEDIENELEMENTE UND ANSCHLÜSSE DER EINGANGSKANÄLE Mikrofoneingang Der Anschluß niederohmiger Mikrofone oder beliebiger anderer Signalquellen mit kleinen Ausgangspegeln und niedriger Ausgangsimpedanz erfolgt an diesen 3poligen XLR-Buchsen. Die Mikrofoneingänge sind symmetrisch aufgebaut. Zur Speisung von Kondensatormikrofonen und DI-Boxen kann eine 48V- Phantomspeisung zentral am Netzteil zugeschaltet werden.
- Seite 4 Stage Line Umschalter MIC-LINE Bei gedrückter Taste ist der Line-Eingang angewählt. Ist die Taste nicht gedrückt, so ist der Mikrofon-Vorverstärker in Betrieb. Verstärkungsregler GAIN Die Eingangsempfindlichkeit der Mikro- und Line-Vorverstärker kann mit diesem Regler stufenlos eingestellt werden. So ist eine optimale Aussteuerung auch bei unterschiedlichsten Eingangspegeln problemlos möglich.

Dabei wird die Signalmasse separat vom Schirm bis zum folgenden Gerät geführt und zur Störkompensation genutzt.

Kopfhörer / VU-Wahltasten L-R und MONO Ist eine dieser Tasten gedrückt, so wird die Stereosumme L-R bzw. die Ausgangssumme MONO mit dem Kopfhörer abgehört und auf den LED-VU-Metern angezeigt. Drückt man jedoch eine der PFL-oder AFL-Tasten, so wird automatisch der Kopfhörerverstärker gemeinsam mit dem rechten VU-Meter auf die angewählte Quelle umgeschaltet.

- Seite 10 Stage Line HINWEISE UND TIPS ZUR BESCHALTUNG DER SUMMENAUSGÄNGE Die Summenausgänge LEFT, RIGHT, MONO und AUX1-4 gestatten problemlos die Ansteuerung symmetrischer und asymmetrischer Geräte-Eingänge mit Eingangsimpedanzen >600 Ohm. Um jedoch die Vorteile der störkompensierten Ausgänge zu nutzen, sollten unbedingt zweiadrige Leitungen mit Schirm verwendet werden, damit die Signalmasse bis zum nachfolgenden Gerät separat vom Schirm geführt werden kann.

- Seite 13 MMX-1221/-1621/-2021 INPUT CHANNEL CONTROLS AND CONNECTORS Microphone Input Microphones with a low output impedance or any other low impedance signal sources with low output levels can be connected to the 3 pole XLR-jacks. The microphone inputs are balanced. A phantom supply (+48V) is provided for all input channels and can be activated with a central switch on the front panel of the supply unit.

Gain Control The input sensitivity of the microphone- and line-preamplifier of each channel can be adjusted with this control. Gain has to be reduced, if the PEAK LED (13) constantly lights up.

The output level of these sends is affected by the setting of the channel faders, so they are well suited for driving effect-devices like delay units or reverbs.

Each output has its own signal ground, separate from the shield and earth. This way the signal ground can be used for compensation, similar to the compensation principle of balanced signal distribution.

- Seite 20 Stage Line INFORMATION AND HINTS REGARDING THE CABLES FOR THE GROUP OUTPUTS The group outputs L-R, MONO and AUX1-4 are capable of feeding balanced and unbalanced signal-inputs with input impedances >600 Ohm. To ensure an effective hum compensation, the signal ground should always be separate from the screen over the full length of the cables.

Per sfruttare i vantaggi delle uscite con compensazione dei disturbi, si devono usare assolutamente dei cavi schermati, a due conduttori, per portare la massa del segnale separatamente fino all’apparecchio successivo.
