Transmitting Messages (advanced pagers only)
After choosing the Message Transmit Symbol á in the function
menu you can transmit any received message to a PC, printer or
large size display via Data Adapter (adapter with serial inter-
face).
Pager Protect Function
In case your pager displays PAGER PROTECT it cannot
receive messages any longer because it was set to a remote
maintenance condition by the paging system`s transmitter („over
the air", advanced pagers only).
Low Battery Alert
When the battery voltage drops, the symbol 9 (warning level
1) is displayed. Whenever the symbol = (warning level 2) is
displayed, the battery must been charged or replaced very soon.
When the battery voltage reaches one of the warning levels the
pager emits a low battery alert. If you do not recognize the alert
(you do not press any button) there will be a repetition in regular
intervals and the symbol 9 or = flashes.
