Exercises with the PhysioFlip
12
STEP 3: Standing exercises
Hip and knee rotations
Stand relaxed on the PhysioFlip. Position yourself so
that your hip is above the ankle (or heel) and above
the pivot point. Place your foot in a relaxed position.
The weight distribution should be such that you have
an even distribution on both legs first. Now go into a
slight squat (squat). Note: Through the depth of the
squat, you determine where in the body the effect
will be felt more.
Now begin to move inward (internal rotation of the
hips). Pay attention to the position and the load on your
foot. The tension in the foot increases through your
movement. The same exercise should now be done
with the movement inward and outward of the knee.
Variation: The inward rotation and the outward
rotation is determined by attaching the resistance loop.
This way you can train both directions of movement
and both feet specifically and with different levels.
If the pull of the loop is not enough, it is possible to
attach power bands to the handle to increase the
resistance.
Variation knee emphasis:
• Practicing counteraction bow and knock-knees
• Stretching of the ligament structures
• Emphasized relief of the menisci and of the cartilage
STEP 4: Lunge exercises
ISG-spine relief, hip and knee rotations
Stand on the PhysioFlip in a lunge position. Position
yourself so that your knee is above the ankle (or heel)
and above the pivot point. Rest your foot in a relaxed
position and place a subtle increase in weight on the
heel. The weight distribution should be such that you
first have an even distribution on both legs.
Note: By keeping the back knee low, you determine
where in the body the effect will be felt more.
Now begin the inward movement (internal rotation
of the hips). Pay attention to the position and the
load on your foot. The tension in the foot increases
through your movement. The same exercise should
now be done with the movement inward and outward
of the knee.
Variation: The inward rotation and the outward
rotation is determined by attaching the resistance loop.
This way you can train both directions of movement
and both feet specifically and with different levels
of difficulty.
If the pull of the loop is not enough, it is possible to
attach power bands to the handle to increase the
resistance.
