8.3 Connection setup via NFC

If your playback device supports NFC, you can establish a connection quickly and conveniently wi-
thout having to perform the steps described above manually.
1) Turn on NFC on your playback device. Please refer to the corresponding operating instructions.
2) Check, also with the help of the operating instructions, where the NFC antenna of your device is
located.
3) Set the speaker into pairing mode. To do this, first press and hold the power button for about 3
seconds to turn on the speaker, which is confirmed by an acoustic signal and a blue LED light. Then
press and hold the Bluetooth button for about 2 seconds. The red and blue LED flashes alternately to
indicate that the speaker is ready for connection. To cancel pairing mode, press and hold the Power
button again for about 3 seconds to turn off the speaker, which is indicated by a short red LED flashing
before it goes out.
4) Touch the NFC area of the speaker with the appropriate part of your playback device. If your play-
back device asks you whether a pairing is to take place, please confirm this. The connection is then
established automatically and you will receive a corresponding message from your playback device.
5) If the connection setup does not work, move your playback device slowly to the position of the spe-
aker as described above. If necessary, repeat steps 1) to 4). If there is still no connection after several
attempts, you can also carry out the procedure described in chapter 8.2 Bluetooth connection setup
at any time to establish the connection manually.

If no connection has been established within 3 minutes, the speaker automatically leaves
pairing mode but remains on.

If you want to connect the speaker to another Bluetooth playback device, you must
first disconnect the active connection by disabling Bluetooth on the first playback
device (alternatively, uncouple the speaker in the Bluetooth settings of the playback

device) and then establish a connection to the new device (see chapter 8.2 Bluetooth
connection setup or 8.3 Connection setup via NFC).
NOTE!
If pairing is not possible, first turn the speaker off and then on and try to connect again.

8.4 Telephoning via Bluetooth

You can use the InLine® WOOME II for telephoning when the connected Bluetooth device is a mobile
phone. Thanks to the built-in microphone, you don´t need any accessories. To do this, follow the steps
described in chapter 8.2 Bluetooth connection setup or 8.3 Connection setup via NFC to establish
a wireless connection. In order to be intelligible to your call partner, you should not be more than one
meter away from the microphone when speaking.
