* PIR sensor distinguishes movement based on changes in surface
temperatures. This is ideal when the subject in front of the camera has a
sufficient surface temperature difference and intersects the recorded
area perpendicularly (passes from side to side). If the subject approaches
the camera frontally, it will take longer to detect the motion.
