Carrying passengers

When carrying passengers, follow the
recommendations detailed above as well as
the following guidelines:
. When carrying passengers, be sure not
to exceed the maximum total weight
of 140 kg (308 lbs) for the passenger(s)
and the rider. The maximum weight of the
passenger(s) at the rear must not exceed
28
70 kg (154 lbs). The total allowable weight
of the bicycle is 200 kg (440 lbs) (weight of
the bicycle + weight of the rider + weight of
passengers, luggage and accessories).
. Do not carry more than one adult or two
children on the rear rack.
. Children, regardless of age, should be able
to hold their heads up properly, with muscle
tone that allows them to absorb jolts on the
road.
. Check that the heel clearance when pedaling
is sufficient.
. Make sure the child or adult seat is properly
mounted and secured according to the
manufacturer's instructions.
. It is recommended that you use Moustache
accessories for carrying passengers,
allowing them to be properly seated and to
grip securely.
. All passengers must wear a suitable helmet.
. Regularly check that your child/children are
properly positioned while riding.
CAUTION!
Never let go of the bike when
there are passengers on the rear
rack. Always keep a hold of the
bike until it is safely parked and
stabilized on its stand.
