CS2MP – Professional Metal Detector
1. Introduction + Description
Thank you for buying the CS2MP ! Please read the manual carefully before bringing this device
into service.
Reading the manual will enable you to enjoy the full range of possibilities this device has to
offer. We advise you to experiment with objects you have buried yourself. This is a very efficient
way of getting to know the behaviour of your detector and the different types of signals.
Always remember that becoming a proficient user requires many hours of practice.
2. Assembling your CS2MP
No special tools are required.
1. The packaging consists of only two sections. The control box is already attached to the
section consisting of the top part of the stem and the handle. The lower section consists of
the search head and the lower part of the stem.
2. Assemble the two sections of the stem.
3. Wrap the cable neatly around the stem.
4. Screw down the stem by turning the lock nut anticlockwise.
5. Insert the cable in the slots just above the search head. Make sure the cable has enough
slack so that the search head can move freely without overtightening the cable.
3. Batteries
Use two 9V alkaline batteries (not incl.).
Remove the cover of the battery compartment at the back of the control box. Respect the
polarity indications when inserting the batteries.
Close the battery compartment. Note that the condition of the batteries is checked automatically
when the device is activated.
You can also use rechargeable 9V-batteries if you wish. Consult your local dealer for more
details.
