It is suggested to start with fine adjustment

Trimming fur
Note: The fur being trimmed should be clean,
dry and untangled.
Carefully comb the fur to disentangle any
potential knots.
Begin by using the longer trimming guides
and trim the fur gradually to the desired length.
It is advisable to first trim a small area so as
to test the individual trimming guides
Example:
Use the trimming guide 3.0 mm
