Commissioning
While commissioning an industrial truck, the
following items must be noted:
Initial commissioning
Please inspect the device carefully and thoroughly
before carrying out initial commissioning. In the
process, make sure that all electrical and hydraulic
connections are connected properly.
Check all mechanical connections, all screw
connections and the oil fill level for the hydraulic
and gearbox oil. In principle, initial commissioning
should only be carried out be trained technicians.
Running in the stacker truck
During the first few operating hours, we recommend
to not use the stacker truck at full capacity yet, but
to start out with lighter loads. This improves the
performance of the stacker truck, and prevents
accelerated wear. In general, do not load the
stacker truck with more than 70 - 80% of the
permissible maximum load.
Furthermore, do not run down the battery to below
30 - 40%. Joints and other moveable parts must be
lubricated more frequently to allow grease / oil to
completely spread on the parts.
After approx. 50 hours of operation, you may finally
use the new stacker truck at full capacity.
Daily start-up
The operator must check the functionality of the
equipment on a daily basis before starting up the
work. A visual check should be carried out. The
following issues should be checked during the daily
functionality test:
Brake unit
Check the locking brake for proper function:
The stacking truck must not be moved if it
is not switched on.
Steering and control
The steering must be easily operable and
jolt-free.
Buttons, control levers and handles must
be in perfect condition.

Any kind of reproduction, even in parts, is not permitted.
Keyswitch
It must be easy to pull of the key.
After pulling off the key, or if the key switch
is set to the 0 position, the truck cannot and
must not be used.
Safety devices
The emergency stop switch must shut
down the equipment.
The emergency stop switch must not be
bypassed.
The collision protection switch must be
functioning properly.
Fork
The fork must be free off cracks.
The fork must not be bent.
The fork carrier must not be bent.
Wheels
Drive and running wheels must be free
from foreign objects.
Warning/alarm units
The horn must be functioning properly.
If during the inspection and before starting the
work, any defects are detected that could impact or
pose danger to the operation or safety of the
equipment, the truck operator is obligated to
immediately take measures for a professional
repair.
To resume operation of the industrial truck would
be negligent and must be refrained from until the
equipment is repaired and ready for proper
operation again.
Daily maintenance work
Check the stacker truck daily for technical
deficiencies prior to the start of work (visual check).
The daily check of the equipment is part of the daily
duties of the operator of a stacker truck in order to
ensure safe handling of the equipment.
Operating materials
Prior to the start of work, check the stacker truck
daily for loss or leakage of operating materials such
as hydraulic oil and battery acid.
