General notes

In order to ensure your safety and the safety of your
device, the following guidelines should always be
observed:
1. Only trained and authorised persons are
allowed to operate the stacker truck.
2. Before starting work, check all controls and
moving parts for freedom of movement. If there
is any damage or there are any other causes for
concern, the stacker truck must only be used
again once it has been repaired correctly.
3. Work on the stacker truck must be stopped
immediately if errors or malfunctions occur, for
example, if the stacker truck loses hydraulic oil.
Secure the stacker truck against unauthorised
use and have it repaired by appropriately
trained service personnel.
4. When loading the stacker truck with goods, in
particular large/bulky goods, ensure that the
table is loaded evenly and is not overloaded.
The fork should always be brought all the way
under the load. It is strictly prohibited to load
goods onto just one of the prongs of the fork.
5. Always consider the centre of gravity of the load
and the load centre of the stacker truck. Always
make sure that the stability of the stacker truck
is guaranteed when working.
6. If there are additional accessories or other
subsequently
installed
equipment, also those of other manufacturers,
attention must be paid to the corresponding
operating
instructions
manufacturer.
7. All warranty claims and the declaration of
conformity will become invalid if technical
changes have been made to the equipment.
8. No abrupt braking or acceleration. The sudden
movement of an abrupt acceleration might
loosen the loaded goods and cause them to
drop and thus endanger or hurt the operator or
bystanders.
9. Only operate the stacker truck from the
designated work deck in front of the tiller. The
danger zone is off limits during any and all work
with the unit. Non-observance can lead to
serious injuries caused by the lifted load.

10. Improper use of the stacker truck (other than
described here) can lead to accidents and/or
injuries. Always adhere to the method of
operation specified.
11. It is prohibited to transport people or allow them
to stand on the fork.
12. Do not touch moving parts. Only operate the
stacker truck using the tiller handle.
13. Always keep in mind the high dimensions of the
stacker truck while in motion. The stopping
distance will become longer the higher the
weight of the load. For this reason, always
move the stacker truck slowly and carefully.
14. Do not stand under or in the vicinity of
suspended loads while lifting the stacker truck
with a crane! If possible, always maintain a
distance of several metres.
15. Have repair work carried out by qualified
specialised personnel only.
16. Only qualified personnel must dismantle the
stacker truck at the end of its service life.
17. Observe
the
temperature
equipment. In the worst case scenario, its use
in locations that are too hot or too cold can
cause defects in the equipment, and can cause
the
operator
hypothermia/frostbite or burns/irritation.
18. Never use the stacker truck in cooling zones!
Condensate may be formed when changing
from warm to cold ambient temperatures, and
thus lead to a short circuit.
19. Worn or faulty parts may result in an increased
noise level and, consequently, may lead to
hearing impairment. Replace worn or faulty
parts in due time.
20. Always wear appropriate protective clothing
when dealing with operating materials. Never
ingest operating materials and make sure that
these substances do not come into contact with
the floor or parts of the equipment where they
are not intended to be. If this does occur,
remove them correctly to ensure there are no
slippery surfaces. Read the safety data sheet
for the respective operating material when
handling operating materials.
