The scales works from solar battery. For normal operation need sufficient level of illumination.

Place the scale on a flat , stable surface (avoid carpets and soft surfaces).
Carefully step onto the scales. Wait for a few seconds.

Without load scales switch off automatically.
Scales switch off automatically when display shows "0.0" for 10 seconds.
