GETTING STARTED

1. Please carefully read this user manual,
which serves as a supplement to your
electric bicycle user manual.
2. Charge the battery
3. Insert the battery into its battery rack
4. Press the start button S or 1
5. Ride it and love it

USER PRECAUTIONS

We ask you kindly to carefully read and
understand all user materials before
taking your first trip.
Any inproper use may result in electric
shock, fire, unnecessary injuries,
damage or loss.
Familiarize yourself with your electric
bicycle and the functions of the
MPF DRIVE system in a safe
environment before participating in
road traffic for the first time.
Always wear a helmet when riding an
electric bicycle for your own safety.
Make sure that the brakes are operating
properly before riding the bike.
Make sure that the tires have the
pressure recommended by the
manufacturer before riding the bike.
Pay attention to traffic and do not use
mobile phones or any other electronic
devices while riding.

Technical modifications, changes and errors excepted
If possible, ride in bike lanes and always
in the correct direction of traffic.
Adhere to all valid national traffic
regulations on registering and using
e-Bikes.
Keep in mind that other traffic
participants may underestimate the
speed of an electric bicycle.
Ride with both hands on the handlebars
when riding your electric bicycle.
Ride as defensively as possible.
Do not open the motor unit, display,
battery or any components belonging to
the MPF DRIVE system yourself.
The motor unit is maintenance free and
must be repaired only by qualified
experts and only with original spare parts.
The boost function may be only used
when pushing the bike. Danger of injury
when the wheels of the e-Bike do not
have ground contact while using the
boost assistance function.
Do not make any modification to your
e-Bike system or fit any other products
which might increase the performance
of your e-Bike system. This normally
reduces the lifetime of the system and
risks damage to the drive unit and the
bike. There is also a risk of losing the
guarantee and warranty claims on the
bike you have purchased.
The MPF DRIVE unit is intended
exclusively for your e-bike and is not
permitted for use in competition.
