Chargers
• Do not attempt to charge disposable
batteries.
• Ensure defective cables are replaced
immediately.
• Keep away from water.
• The charger must not be opened.
• Never insert anything into the charger.
• The charger is only intended for indoor
use.
NB!
The battery is not fully charged on delivery. It
must be charged fully prior to initial use. The
battery only reaches its full capacity once it
has been charged and discharged around 5
times.
If the battery is not to be used for a
prolonged period, you must charge it up to
50-70% before storing it and then recharge it
again every three months.
Charging
Press the lock button on the battery and
remove the battery from the machine.
Insert the battery into the charger so that it
clicks into place. The battery can only turn
one way.
Insert the plug from the charger into the
mains socket.
The red indicator light on the charger will
come on while the battery is charging. One
charge takes approx. one hour.
Once the red indicator light on the charger
goes out and the green indicator light comes
on, the battery is fully charged.
Unplug the charger. Press the lock button on
the battery down and pull the battery out of
the charger.
Checking the battery charging
status
The battery is equipped with a test button
and a charge status indicator with 3 LEDs.
Press the test button and read off the battery
charge status from the lit LEDs:
Green, orange, red
Orange, red
Red
High capacity
Medium capacity
