Safety instructions for battery and
charger
Do not try to charge other batteries using
the charger even if they have the same
speci cations as the battery provided.
Do not try to charge the batteries using a
diff erent charger even if it has the same
speci cations as the charger provided.
Protect the charger's and the battery's
terminals when the parts are not in use. If
they come into contact with liquids, metal
parts or other conductive materials, the
charger or battery may short circuit.
Never use the charger if the battery, charger
or cord is damaged.
The battery must only be charged indoors at
an ambient temperature of 5-40 °C.
The battery and charger may get hot during
charging. This is completely normal.
Use only batteries and chargers that are
designed for this machine.
Batteries
Must not be opened under any
circumstances.
Must not be stored in places where the
temperature may exceed 40 °C.
May only be charged at an ambient
temperature of between 4 °C and 40 °C.
Batteries must be disposed of in
accordance with the applicable
regulations.

Make sure they cannot be short-circuited.
If a connection is created between the
positive (+) and the negative (-) pole,
directly or due to accidental contact with
metal objects, the battery will short-
circuit. The result will be a very high
current, which generates heat and can
cause a re, or the battery to crack.
Must not be heated. If the batteries
are heated to above 100 °C, the seal
and dividing plates and other polymer
components may be damaged as a result
of electrolyte seepage and/or internal
short circuit, which will result in the
generation of heat that may cause cracks
in the battery or a re. The batteries must
not be burned, as this may cause an
explosion and/or severe burns.
Under extreme conditions, the battery
may leak. If you notice liquid on the
battery, do the following:
Carefully wipe off the liquid with a cloth.
Avoid contact with the skin.
If the liquid gets on your skin or in your
eyes, follow these steps:
- Rinse immediately with water.
Neutralise with a mild acid such as lemon
juice or vinegar.
If you get liquid in your eyes, rinse
thoroughly with plenty of water for at
least ten minutes. Consult a doctor.
