Make sure that the heating water does not spill from the top of the device.
If water spills out of the central body (a) after the feeding bottle or accessories have been inserted,
immediately dry the external area and base of the bottle warmer and the power cable and plug
with a dry cloth and remove the excess water from the tank.
4. Place the lid (q) over the central body (a) checking that the steam outlet (r) is not obstructed and that
the accessories held inside don't keep the lid (q) from closing properly.
5. Connect the power cable (c) to the power connector (d) and insert the plug in the power socket:
an audible signal will be heard.
6. Switch on the interface by touching the on/off touch button/icon (e): an audible signal will be
heard, the on/off button/icon (e) will turn on an blink with a blue light, the heating mode but-
tons/icons (f ) and the sterilisation function button/icon (l) will turn on and blink with a white
light indicating the product is ready to be programmed.
NOTE: If the device is left unused with no heating cycle set for three minutes it will emit an audible
signal and switch off automatically.
7. Set the sterilisation function by acting on the touch button/icon for the sterilisation feature (l).
The button/icon selected will light up with a fixed white light indicating that the setting has been
received, the delayed start button/icon (m) will blink with a white light indicating that the product
is ready to receive a setting and the timer (n) will switch on and indicate the duration of the sterili-
sation cycle, which is preset to 8 minutes (heating time included).
NOTE: The duration of the sterilisation cycle indicated above refers to the Chicco lines of feeding
bottles and accessories.
8. To initiate the selected cycle immediately, touch the on/off touch button (e): an audible signal
will be heard, the timer (n) will show the amount of time remaining for the sterilisation cycle and
the on/off touch button/icon (e) will light up with a white light indicating that the sterilisation
cycle is in progress. After a cycle is selected (point 7), if three minutes pass without the cycle be-
ing activated, the device will emit an audible signal and switch off automatically.
CAUTION
When first using the device, it is advisable to complete a sterilisation cycle without placing any
objects in the device. The device may emit a faint scent during the first few cycles. This is normal.
9. The end of the sterilisation cycle is signalled by the timer (n), which will read 00, and by an
extended audible signal.
At the end of the cycle the device will switch off automatically.
Always wash your hands thoroughly before touching the sterilised objects.
NOTE: So long as the lid (q) is not removed, the items inside the bottle warmer will remain sterile
for about 24 hours. Once the lid is removed, during or after use, the items are no longer
sterile.
10. To switch off the bottle warmer press the on/off touch button (e) a second time until the in-
terface switches off and an extended audible signal is heard. Unplug the power cable (c) from
the power socket.
DELAYED START FUNCTION
This function allows you to decide when the heating or sterilisation cycle should begin (the de-
layed start can be set from 30 minutes to 2 hours).
To set a delayed start for the heating cycle, follow the instructions given in points 1 to 8/10 of the
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE - USING THE PRODUCT AS A BOTTLE WARMER.
To set a delayed start for the sterilisation cycle, follow the instructions given in points 1 to 7 of the
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE - USING THE PRODUCT AS A STERILISER.
1. Select delayed start by acting on the touch button/icon for the delayed start feature (m).
