Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing the Cloer coffee grinder.
From now on, you are able to enjoy coffee made
of freshly ground coffee beans.
We hope you enjoy your new coffee grinder.
Description

Setting up
·
Remove all packaging parts and, if applicable,
stickers, not the rating label.
·
Place the coffee grinder on a dry, non-slip and
even surface.
Before using the first time
·
Please read this instruction manual attentively
before using it for the first time.
·
Clean the device and its accessories with a moist
cloth. ATTENTION! Sharp edges!
·
Let the parts dry fully before use.
Safety notices for operation
·
The coffee grinder is exclusively intended
to grind coffee beans. Do not fill any other
foodstuffs (other beans, nuts etc.) into the
device.
·
Never operate the device without beans.
·
The device must never be operated without the
grinding ring.
·
The grinding ring in turn must not be used
without the seal attached.
The appliance meets the
requirements of the applicable
EC directives.
The appliance is intended for
indoor use only.
·
Never leave the device unsupervised in

operation.

·
Never fill the container with coffee beans over
the rim (max. 300g).
·
Please observe that the coffee meal container
has a volume of max. 110 g.
·
Never use the coffee bean container and the
coffee meal container without a lid.
·
Take off the coffee bean container only when
it is empty, since the beans will otherwise
fall through the openings at the bottom. If
necessary, tip out the beans (fig. 1). Disconnect
the device from the mains first and remove the
coffee meal container.

If the grinder does not start up properly, caught
beans may be the cause. In this case, switch to
the coarsest grinding degree „18" and try again.
·
Then you can return to the original grinding
degree while the device is running.
·
Never immerse the coffee grinder in water or
other liquids!
ATTENTION! Always unplug
appliance when not in use and
before cleaning!
Assembly
·
At the beginning, ensure that the device is not
yet connected to the mains and that the on/off
switch (8) is set to OFF " ".
·
Before assembly, ensure that the grinder is free
of old coffee beans.
·
Place the grinding ring incl. seal (1) into the
position on the conical grinder (below the
coffee bean container (5) ). The three teeth of
the grinding ring fit the three protrusions in the
device precisely. Caution! Sharp edges!
·
Place the empty coffee bean container (5) onto
the device. The triangle on the coffee bean
container must point precisely to the grey
mark of the device. Now push the coffee bean
container down and turn it clockwise in the
direction of the grinding degree marks.
·
Please observe that your coffee mill will not
work for reasons of safety when the coffee
bean container (5) is not properly installed.
·
Now place the coffee meal container with lid (4)
in the right position.
Operation
·
Fill coffee beans into the coffee bean container
(5) (max. 300 g).
·
Plug cord into a standard electrical outlet.
·
Choose the desired degree of grinding (6)
between 1 and 18, by turning the coffee bean
container (5).
·
Important: 1 is the finest grinding degree,
18 is the coarsest one. The mark
corresponds roughly to the grinding degree
of commercial coffee powder.
·
Please observe that the grinding degrees
controller (6) must not be adjusted during
operation.
·
Please observe that less powder will come
out at a fine grinding degree than a coarse
one at the same number of cups.
·
Now set the cup number controller (2) to the
desired number of cups. Please observe that
