5. tEMpERAtuRE SEttING

Electronic thermostat C 501 has a scale range of +5°C/+40°C. The
thermostat has a LED (D) which will glow RED when the heating is ON.
The thermostat should be set at maximum temperature setting until the
desired temperature of the room or floor is achieved. The control knob
should then be turned back until the LED goes out. Fine adjustments can
be made over the following 1/2 days to suit individual requirements.
6. MAX./MIN. LIMItAtIoN of tEMpERAtuRE
A locking mechanism is positioned behind the control knob to limit the
amount of adjustment possible. By loosening the small screw (C) (pic.
1), the scale range can be locked, e.g. between +20°C and +25°C. The red
ring indicates the maximum temperature and the blue ring indicates the
minimum temperature.
7. tHERMoStAt tEMpERAtuRE SENSoR fAuLt DEtECtIoN
Thermostat C 501 has an internal function which in case of short circuit or
interruption of the temperature sensor switches the heating off.
Check the temperature sensor resistance, the values should correspond to
those given in table (pic. 4).

8. WARRANty

Warranty period for thermostat C 501 is 36 months. Warranty is valid if the
following documents are presented:
1. Warranty coupon (filled in correctly);
2. Document of purchase: invoice or receipt;
The obligation of Comfort Heat will be to repair or supply a new unit, free
of charge to the customer, without secondary charges linked to repairing
the unit.
