1 Putting your pager into operation

1.1 Power supply

Charge accumulator completey before using it the first time (at least
24 h for NiMH 1600 mAh).

1.2 Inserting the battery

• Pull the locking slider (1) outwards.
• Remove the battery cover (2) by sliding it in the direction of
the arrow.
• Insert the battery (3) and ensure correct polarity (+/–).
• The pager switches on automatically (display, vibrator, beep).
• Replace the cover (2).
• Push the locking slider (1) back in gently.
• Set the clock (see section 6.3.1).
