Before installation, please read and follow these instructions. Incorrect installation may lead to serious injury.
Disconnect all power cables to be installed! Take precautions against unintentional switching on! The product
must be installed, maintained and dismounted by a skilled person according to the relevant regulation. An all-
pole mains switch shall be incorporated in the electrical installation of the building to provide simultaneous
separation of at least 3 mm for all phases from the supply.
Somfy cannot accept any liability for defects and damage caused by failure to follow these instructions. Please
keep these instructions for future reference.
The range of radio controls is restricted by legal requirements for radio installations and structural conditions.
Please pay attention to allowing sufficient radio reception (avoid basement installation!).
The function of controls can be influenced by strong local transmitters (e.g. radio headset) with identical trans-
mitting frequency.

For better radio performance: The transceiver
can be mounted with some distance to the wall
using the 4 enclosed spacers.

1. Always 90° to the DIN rail

WIRING
[1] Only mount the USB cable downwards with
enough distance to animeo IP Building Controller
or animeo IP Sub Controller.
[2] The USB cable must not be mounted beside or
above the housing or the PCB (Printed Circuit
Board).
Use existing USB cable; do not lengthen it!
