Overheating protection
The device is equipped with overheating protection. When the critical
temperature has been passed, the device will switch off for safety reasons.
Hint: Never place empty pans on the hob. Heating up an empty pot or frying pan
activates the overheating protection system; an audio signal will sound and the device
turns off. The digital display shows "E2".
In such a case, remove the pan from the hob and leave the device for a few minutes to
cool down. Then, you may start using the device again.
