9. Function and related RS232 code

The RS232 model Kindermann Aktivbox² Set50+ WBT includes 3 signal input sources: Bluetooth (optional), unbalance
input and balance input. Besides the speaker rear panel, the speaker also can be controlled by infrared remote control or
by PC or other professional AV control system through the RS232 port.

9.1. RS232 communication setting

Baud rate: 9600; stop bit: 1; No parity bit; Transmission intervals greater than 80 ms.
The sending code format is hexadecimal and the receiving code format is ASCII.

Command Description
Switch power on/off, or power on from the standby mode.
To switch the LED light on/off.
Switch mute mode on/off.
Switch to Bluetooth input and mute mode off.
Switch to Unbalanced input and mute mode off.
Switch to Balanced input and mute mode off.
Increase volume and mute mode off.
Each press increment step+1, the range is 0~36. It can continuously operate.
Decrease volume and mute mode off.
Each press decrement step-1, the range is 0~36. It can continuously operate.
Increase bass and mute mode off.
Each press increment step+1dB, the range is 0dB~14dB. It can continuously operate.
Decrease bass and mute mode off.
Each press decrement step-1dB, the range is 0dB~14dB. It can continuously operate.
Increase treble and mute mode off.
Each press increment step +1dB, the range is 0dB~14dB. It can continuously operate.
Decrease treble and mute mode off.
Each press decrement step-1dB, the range is 0dB~14dB. It can continuously operate.
Reset volume, treble, bass to default level.
(Default: volume 30, treble 5dB, bass 5dB)
To activate the function by pressing the button for 3 second when power on.
Reset treble and bass to median.
(Median: treble 7dB, bass 7dB)
To activate the function by pressing the button for 3 second when power on.
Turn on Bluetooth priority.
Turn off Bluetooth priority.
Turn on AUTO STANDBY.
To turn on the function by pressing the button for 3 second when power on.
Turn off AUTO STANDBY.
To turn off the function by pressing the button for 3 second when power on.
