Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
■ Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can
put your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are al-
lowed to carry out this repair work.

Switch the appliance on.
Check that the mains plug is firmly
inserted into the socket.
Try the appliance with a different socket.
Check fuses and/or circuit breakers.
Contact our service department (see
"Service" on page EN-17).
Find another location or remove
obstacles.
Clean filter or change (see "Cleaning the
filter" on page EN-14 or "Changing the
filter" on page EN-13)
Remove the filter and remove the
packaging film. Then insert the filter
again (see "Remove filter packing" on
page EN-9).
Select another location.
Clean the PM2.5 sensor filter (see
page EN-15).
After changing the filter, hold down the
Fan Speed button (12) until the Filter
Change Reminder LED (11) goes out.
