I modelli della serie ARCHON 110 / 112 / 115 sono configurabili in modalità FULL-
RANGE o in BI-AMP. Per la selezione della modalità operativa fare riferimento a
pag 27. In modalità FULL-RANGE è possibile il collegamento tramite connettori
Speakon (1+ / 1-) o morsettiera ad impedenza costante (8Ohm) e tensione 100V.
In modalità BI-AMP possono essere utilizzati solo i connettori Speakon (1+ / 1- LF)
(2+ / 2- HF)
LINEA A TENSIONE COSTANTE
Collegare un conduttore al morsetto del diffusore contrassegnato con "COM"
alla linea 100V che fa capo al morsetto dell'amplificatore contrassegnato con "-",
"0", "COM". Collegare l'altro conduttore, scegliendo tra "HI" e "LO" in base alla
potenza desiderata, alla linea 100 V che fa capo al morsetto dell'amplificatore
contrassegnato con "100V, "+".
COLLEGAMENTO AD IMPEDENZA COSTANTE
Da NON effettuarsi con linee a 100V. Collegare un conduttore dal morsetto del
diffusore contrassegnato con "COM" al morsetto dell'amplificatore contrassegnato
con "-". Collegare un conduttore dal morsetto del diffusore contrassegnato con "8
Ohm" al morsetto dell'amplificatore contrassegnato con "+".
Le prese SPEAKON sono collegate in parallelo; utilizzare una presa per il
collegamento del box all'uscita di un amplificatore di potenza, l'altra per collegare un
secondo box. È necessario scegliere cavi per diffusori con un diametro sufficiente
in funzione della lunghezza totale del collegamento. La resistenza introdotta da un
cablaggio inadeguato verso i diffusori riduce sia la potenza in uscita sia il fattore di
smorzamento dell'altoparlante.

CONNECTIONS ARCHON 110 / 112 / 115
The ARCHON series 110 / 112 / 115 models can be setup in FULL-RANGE or BI-
AMP mode. For work mode selection refer to page 27. The FULL-RANGE mode
allows connection through Speakon connectors (1+ / 1-) or terminal board with
constant impedance (8Ohm) and 100V voltage.
BI-AMP mode only allows to use Speakon connectors (1+ / 1- LF) (2+ / 2- HF)
CONSTANT VOLTAGE LINE
Connect a conductor from the speaker terminal marked with "COM" to the 100V line
in the amplifier terminal marked with "-", "0", "COM". Connect the other conductor,
choosing between "HI" and "LO" depending on the desired power, to the 100V line
in the amplifier terminal marked with "100V", "+".
CONSTANT IMPEDANCE CONNECTION
NOT ALLOWED on 100V lines. Connect a conductor from the speaker terminal
marked with "COM" to the amplifier terminal marked with "-". Connect a conductor
from the speaker terminal marked with "8 Ohm" to the amplifier terminal marked
with "+".
Speakon connectors are connected in parallel mode. One connector can be used
to connect the box to the output of a power amplifier, the other to connect to a
second box. Loudspeaker cables shall have the adequate diameter, depending on
the overall lenght of the connection. The resistance introduced by an inadequate
wiring towards the loudspeakers would reduce both the power output and the
damping factor of the loudspeaker.
