8. Maintenance/cleaning

8.1. Maintenance

WARNING! Maintenance work is required if the cool box
has been damaged, liquids or objects have got inside the
housing, the cool box has been exposed to rain or moisture
or if the cool box is not functioning properly or has been
dropped. If you notice any smoke, unusual noises or smells,
disconnect the cool box from the mains immediately. If this
happens, you must stop using the cool box until it has been
checked by a specialist. All maintenance work should only
be carried out by qualified specialists. Never open the
housing of the cool box.

8.2. Replacing the 12 V fuse

Proceed as follows to replace the fuse:
 Remove the cigarette lighter socket connection [1] from the cigarette lighter socket.
 Twist the sleeve [9] anti-clockwise until it comes loose. Now pull off the sleeve [9].
 Unscrew the screw [10] using a suitable screwdriver.
 Open the housing by removing the top half of the housing.
 Remove the contact pin [11] and fuse [12].
 Now insert a new fuse in front of the contact spring [13] and lodge the fuse into the clasp using
the contact pin to help you.
 Now replace the top half of the housing and tighten the screw [10] again.
 Place the sleeve [9] back on. Twist the sleeve [9] clockwise until it snaps into place.
