4.0 The SmartDrive was configured as a client and can no longer be found
in the network settings
Possible reasons:
1. The network configuration of the SmartDrive is incorrect.
2. Please see Point 1.0 for possible causes and trouble-shooting.
Solution:
If you have integrated your SmartDrive into an existing network, please first check the
functional capability of this device. If the network configuration of the SmartDrive is incorrect,
or should you have forgotten your password, you can reverse this with the setup software.
If you wish to reset all data to the works setting, please proceed as follows:
1. Download the setup software under http://www.koch-smartdrive.de/downloads/
2. Open the ZIP file and copy the file „wrc_reset_settings.den" onto a USB-Stick.
3. Connect the USB stick with the USB coupling of the SmartDrive
4. Check that the SmartDrive is connected to a power supply.
5. Wait at least 30 – 40 seconds until the reset process has been completed. The reset
function has no influence on the receivers already programmed. However, we strongly
advise you to create a back-up copy of your settings.
ATTENTION! Do not disconnect the USB stick or the power supply from the SmartDrive
during the resetting process!
