Using your power-assisted bicycle
This power-assisted bicycle can be used with or without
assistance.
Once activated, the power assistance works as soon as you
pedal forward. The operating principle is based on a torque
sensor which, as soon as the pedal is pressed, activates the
power assistance. So, the harder it is pressed, the greater the
assistance.
However, please note that the assistance varies according to
the speed of the bicycle:
-
it is high when starting,
-
less high when the bicycle is in movement,
-
then above 25 km/h, the assistance cuts out. It will
automatically resume when the speed is lower. You can
go faster, but you will have to do it on your own, without
any power assistance.
