ISDN line, the yellow LED will be lit while one B channel connection is active. It will blink while
more than one B channel connections are active. On the PrimuX 8S0 II/E each LED shows the
status of one S0 line. The LEDs are lit when the line is activated and blink when at least one B
channel connection is active.
PrimuX S0 II
Connect the PrimuX controller to the ISDN line by using the cable found in the box. The
controller shows ISDN activity with LEDs on its WD connector. The green LED shows activity on
the ISDN line, the red LED will be lit while one B channel connection is active. It will blink while
more than one B channel connections are active.
PrimuX USB / PrimuX USB II
Connect the PrimuX controller to the ISDN line by using the cable found in the box. The
controller shows ISDN activity with LEDs. These LEDs will be continously lit when the ISDN line
is activated. They will slowly blink when B channel connections are active.
PrimuX AE2
Connect the port marked LINE of the PrimuX adapter to an S0 port configured for NT by using
the cable found in the box. The ports P1, P2 and P3 connect to analog devices. If a device has a
TAE plug instead of a WD plug please use one of the adapters found in the box.
PrimuX 1S2M/2S2M
These older version of the PrimuX S2M controllers come with a choice of two different cables:
gray cable(s) with four unconnected wires on one side and black cable(s) with two WD8 plugs.
The correct choice for the cable depends on the kind of S2M connection on your premises:
Older PMX box (with wire plugs)
1. Select the gray cable(s) and connect the WD8 plug to the connector(s) on the back of
the PrimuX controller.
2. Connect the wires to your PMX box according to the table below:
