The PrimuX controllers show PMX activity with LEDs on each WD connector. The green LED will
be lit when the line is synchronized, the yellow LED will be lit while one B channel connection is
active. It will blink while more than one B channel connections are active.
PrimuX Multi S0 II/E
The PrimuX Multi S0 II/E controllers have matching cables in the box. Depending on its mode
of operation (TE or NT) simply connect each port with either an ISDN line or an ISDN terminal.
You can use the same cable for both modes of operation as the PrimuX controller will switch
the signals as needed.
On the PrimuX 8S0 II/E controller two S0 lines share an WD connector. The cables found in
the box split each WD connector accordingly. If you can't use the supplied cables for any reason
please make sure that the connections are made according to the table below:
PrimuX PIN 1 → Connector 2, PIN 3
PrimuX PIN 2 → Connector 2, PIN 4
PrimuX PIN 3 → Connector 1, PIN 3
PrimuX PIN 4 → Connector 1, PIN 4
PrimuX PIN 5 → Connector 1, PIN 5
PrimuX PIN 6 → Connector 1, PIN 6
PrimuX PIN 7 → Connector 2, PIN 5
PrimuX PIN 8 → Connector 2, PIN 6
In addition you can order a patch panel with matching cables from Gerdes AG (refer to article
number 2309).
The PrimuX Multi S0 II/E controllers show ISDN activity with LEDs on each WD connector. On
the PrimuX 2S0 II/E and PrimuX 4S0 II/E controllers the green LED shows activity on the
