The PrimuX controllers show PMX activity with LEDs on each WD connector. The green LED will
be lit when the line is synchronized, the yellow LED will be lit while one B channel connection is
active. It will blink while more than one B channel connections are active.
PrimuX xS2M E
The PrimuX xS2M E controllers are packaged with cables for connections to modern PMX
boxes. Depending on its mode of operation (TE or NT) simply connect each port with either a
PMX line or a PBX. You can use the same cable for both modes of operation as the PrimuX
controller will switch the signals as needed.
On the PrimuX 4S2M E controller two S2M lines share an WD connector. A patch panel with
matching cables is included with the PrimuX controller.
If you have a different setup please make sure that the connections are made according to the
table below:
PrimuX PIN 1 → RX (controller A receives)
PrimuX PIN 2 → RX (controller A receives)
PrimuX PIN 4 → TX (controller A transmits)
PrimuX PIN 5 → TX (controller A transmits)
PrimuX PIN 3 → RX (controller B receives)
PrimuX PIN 6 → RX (controller B receives)
PrimuX PIN 7 → TX (controller B transmits)
PrimuX PIN 8 → TX (controller B transmits)
