UNPACKING INSTRUCTION

CAUTION! Immediately upon receiving the product, carefully unpack the carton, check the contents to ensure that all parts are
present, and have been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packing material for inspection if
any parts appear damage from shipping or the package itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packing
materials. In the event that the product must be returned to the factory, it is important that the product be returned in the original
factory box and packing.
If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The
arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.

CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS

1. MASTER VOLUME
Adjust the overall output level.
2. 5VDC POWER INPUT
Connector for inserting the supplied power cord.
3. AUX INPUT
3.5mm auxiliary line input jack.
4. MODE / STEREO PAIR
Press this button to switch between USB-, AUX- and BT modes. Hold for 3 seconds
to initiate stereo pairing with another FP8JB speaker.
5. NEXT TRACK
Press to select the next track.
6. PLAY/PAUSE / LED BUTTON
Press button to start/resume or pause playback. Press and hold for 3 seconds to
turn the LED light show on/off.
7. PREVIOUS TRACK
Press to select the previous track.
8. LCD DISPLAY
9. USB PORT
Connect your USB drive to this slot to play music with MP3-format in USB mode.
10. ECHO CONTROL
Turn to adjust the intensity of the echo effect.
11. MICROPHONE VOLUME
Turn to adjust the microphone volume level.
12. MICROPHONE INPUT
6.3mm jack input for connecting a microphone.
REMOTE
1. POWER ON/OFF
Turn the device ON or OFF.
2. MODE
Press this button to switch between USB-, AUX- and BT modes.
3. MUTE
By pressing this button, the device will be muted.
4. PLAY/PAUSE
Start/resume or pause playback by pressing this button.
5. NEXT TRACK
Press to select the next track.
6. PREVIOUS TRACK
Press to select the previous track.
7. EQ
Press to choose equalizer presets.
8. VOLUME DOWN
Press to lower the volume level.
9. VOLUME UP
Press to increase the volume level.
10. NUMPAD
Use for choosing tracks directly.
11. LED
Press to turn the LED light show on/off.
BT CONNECTION
1. Activate the BT on your device (Mobile phone, tablet etc.) which you want to play the music.
See the operating instructions for that device.
2. Press the "MODE" button and activate the BT-function.
3. Select "FP8JB" on your BT device and pair.
Attention: BT distance is approx. 10meter without any barrier.
STEREO PAIRING
The FP8JB features a stereo pairing function. This means you can purchase 2 identical FP8JB speakers and connect them to
play in stereo wirelessly. Step 1: set up a BT connection with speaker 1. Step 2: set speaker 2 to BT mode. Step 3: hold the
MODE / STEREO PAIR button on speaker 1 for 3 seconds. When pairing is successful, you'll hear a chime from the second
speaker.
