PERSONALIZATION OF USERNAME AND PHONE NUMBERS:
•
Starlink 4G allows to personalize up to 128 Usernames; the number of characters which can be used depends on the phone and/or to the Sim
Card used and can be maximum 14.
•
The personalization of Names and phone numbers related to Users allows to recognize the user code for incoming calls and the commands
through both vocal RTC and SMS.
•
If used as telephone dialler, the Usernames from 1 to 8 are used in the phone calls made by Starlink 4G.

PERSONALIZATION OF INSTALLER TELEPHONE NUMBER:

Starlink 4G allows to personalize the Installer Phone Number to enable access to recording and listening of vocal messages to personalize in
the Mod. DIGIVOC. through RTC in GSM.

PROGRAMMING OF VOCAL MESSAGES (MAX 40):
•
Vocal messages are numbered as 376 (the first recorded), 377(the second recorded), 378 (the third recorded) ..., (the fortieth recorded 415)
•
Having programmed the user phone number U009, reserved to the installer , call the Sim number. The recognition is automatic.

To listen to personalized recorded messages, numbered from 376 on, Use pushbutton DTMF 1.

To record the following free message, use pushbutton DTMF 2 followed, after request, by pushbutton DTMF #; freely speak for max 16 sec.
•
If the message lasts less, it will stop after detecting silence .
•
In order to cancel ALL personalized messages recorded, use pushbutton 0 followed, after request, by pushbutton #.
NOTE: The account of first 4 phone numbers is set as 376000 by default, to select as Introduction Message the first among the pre-recorded ones.
MANAGEMENT OF OUTGOING SMS:
To send SMS it is necessary to program the mobile phone number of the destination on related telephone device preceded by 000 (e.g. 338325xxxx
 000338325xxxx) and set the CONTACT ID protocol.
Starlink 4G transforms the events sent by CONTACT ID protocol from phone device to SMS according to the chart of protocols codes. Starlink 4G,
thanks to its internal memory, manages up to 8 consecutive events sent by the telephone device to communicate as SMS. Should there be more
than 8 events to communicate in the same telephone call, Starlink 4G, according to its configuration will behave in two different ways:
1. Block of exceeding MS ("9" memorized in R000): to avoid discharging Sim Card because of too many consecutive SMS, it is possible to
set a "subject to positive issue" of the call even if not all the events are sent by telephone device. This programming allows to stop SMS sen-
ding after the 8th consecutive one. Should this situation occur, Starlink 4G would send a last warning SMS showing "SMS sending stopped"
NOTE: if the number of consecutive events is high, Starlink 4G could send further SMS after first 8
2. Sending of all events ("9" not memorized in R000): This programming allows Starlink 4G to produce all SMS related to the events sent by
the telephone device.
NOTE: if the number of consecutive events is high Starlink 4G could send SMS in non-chronological order
ATTENTION: during SMS sending, it is not possible to make and receive phone calls; incoming calls will not make the device ring and outgoing
calls will not receive the free-tone signal.
