Safety
This device complies with the prescribed safety regulations. Improper
use can however, result in personal injury and/or damage to the
device.

Danger of electric shock

DANGER
Danger to life by electric shock!
Contact with live wires or components could lead to serious
injury or even death!
Observe the following safety precautions to avoid electric shocks:
► Do not use this device if the mains adapter, power cable or plug
is damaged.
► On no account should the housing of the device be opened.
Danger of electric shock if live connections are touched and/or
the electrical and mechanical confi guration is changed.

Handling batteries

WARNING
Danger resulting from improper use!
Observe the following safety instructions to ensure safe handling of
the batteries:
► Do not throw batteries into a fi re.
► Do not short circuit the batteries.
► Do not try to re-charge the batteries.
► Check the battery regularly. Leaking battery acid can cause
permanent damage to the device. Particular care and attention
is required when dealing with damaged or leaking batteries.
Danger of acid burning! Wear protective gloves.
► Keep batteries out of the hands of children. If swallowed, con-
sult a doctor immediately.
► Remove the battery from the remote control when the device is
not to be used for a longer period of time.
