Description/Intended Use
The Dräger PARAT 3100 and Dräger PARAT 3200 are escape fil-
ters for self-rescue while escaping from industrial plants in which
toxic organic or inorganic gases and vapours, sulphur dioxide,
hydrogen chloride and other acid gases, ammonia and organic
ammonium compounds are suddenly released.
The filters are designed for a maximum duration of escape of
15 minutes. They are non-reusable.
This period may be reduced in the case of high concentrations
(≥1 by volume) or if chemicals which boil at low temperatures
(Group 1 and 2) are present.
Inexperienced users may have difficulty breathing.
The filters provide no protection against carbon monoxide or
shortage of oxygen. Failure to heed this warning may result in
death or serious physical injury.
The filters are packed in a plastic case suitable for wearing on the
belt or carrying in a jacket pocket.
If the filtering escape device is used outside the storage
temperature range, the filter performance may decrease.
