2.B. CHECKING AND SETTING THE DIP SWITCHES
Check the configuration of the DIP SWITCHES (at the back of the UPS, see Figure
A) against the above table (according to the options installed, if any). The dip switch
configurations are illustrated in Figure B.
N.B. In the set-up illustrated in fig.d baud rate (speed of data transmission) is
programmed for a default value of 9600, if the personal computer in use is
not compatible with this value it may be altered in accordance with the table
below:

Plug the cable in the kit provided into one of the RS232 ports (at the back of the
UPS, see Figure C), depending on which other options are already installed, if any,
as shown in the table below:
