Selecting a wave band
Select the AM or FM wave band by
pressing 8.

Selecting a station

There are various modes for selecting
or searching for a radio station. Select
a mode by pressing 9.
MEMO mode
This operating mode allows you to recall
radio stations that you have stored pre-
viously.
Select a waveband then select a radio
station using the modes described in
the following paragraphs.
To store a radio station, press one of
the keys on keypad 2 (numbered 1 to 6)
until you hear a bleep confirming that
the station has been stored. You may
store 6 radio stations per wave band.
Recall the stored radio stations by
pressing one of the keys on keypad 2.

LIST mode
This operating mode allows you to
search for a radio station from an al-
phabetical list.
This list contains up to 50 radio stations
with the best reception in the area the
vehicle is currently in. Press 6 or turn
the control knob on the steering column
control to scroll through all the radio
stations.
The system continually updates the
list automatically (for FM radio stations
only). However, you may also activate
this update by pressing and holding 9.
Frequencies of radio stations that do
not use the RDS system are shown and
classified at the end of the list.

MANUAL mode
This mode allows radio stations to be
searched for manually by scanning the
selected wave band.
Press 5 repeatedly to scan the wave
band.
Press 6 or turn the control knob on the
steering column control to start the radio
station automatic search function.
Stop the search by pressing 5 or 6.

services (RDS/i menu)
Tracking an FM radio station
(RDS-AF)
The frequency of an FM radio station
may change depending on the geo-
graphical area. In order to keep listen-
ing to the same radio station when driv-
ing, activate the RDS-AF function so
that your audio system can automati-
cally retune the frequency.
