If you are on the border between two sizes, choose the bigger one. If you have difficulties
choosing the size of the product, visit a specialized medical supplies store or directly the
manufacturer.
If you have difficulties putting on the product, visit a specialized medical supplies store
and request a demonstration of the correct method of applying it.
With a correctly selected size:
• you should feel noticeable but not unpleasant pressure at the knee area
• the product does not slide or roll down
• the product does not choke at any point
Size and manufacturer information can be found on the tag sewn at the top edge of the
product.
Method of use:
Put on the product by gradually pulling it over the knee. Never put on the bandage by
merely pulling the top edge – always put the bandage on gradually. When putting on, the
product may not come into contact with sharp objects (e.g., jewellery) or long nails.
Stretch the product evenly without creases for effective distribution of pressure. To
increase the therapeutic effect, put a support tape over the bandage. You can see the
method of application in the picture:
If you use body cosmetics, wait about 15 minutes after application before you put on the
product.
In the case of visible mechanical damage to the product, stop wearing it and preferably
replace it with a new product.
Care and maintenance:
Avicenum ORTHO 360 knee bandage Type 02 is a medical device intended for repeated
use by a single person. The product will maintain its properties and safety for 12 months
from the first use under these conditions:
• the product can be washed in a washing machine (maximum washing temperature
30 °C, gentle cycle) in a soapy solution or using a special preparation for washing
compressing stockings and sleeves using a wash bag
• do not use fabric softeners
• do not use centrifugation; squeeze the wet product between two towels
• dry the product in a horizontal position away from a direct heat source (radiator, sun)
