Precautions for use
Never move the stand when the grill is in operation
The appliance must be installed on a stable horizontal stand before use
The grill must be heated up and the fuel kept red-hot for at least 30 minutes prior to cooking
for the first time
Before you start cooking, wait for a layer of ash to cover the fuel
Warning! This grill will get very hot. Do not move it when in use
Warning! Do not use in an enclosed area
Warning! Do not use alcohol, gasoline or similar liquids to light or relight the grill. Use only
firelighters that comply with EN 1860-3.
Warning! Do not leave the grill within reach of children and pets.
Warning! Do not handle the ash pan before the appliance has completely cooled. Warning!
Do not use the horizontal firebox in rotisserie position.
The grill must be placed on a concrete or firebrick slab.
The grill must be placed 70 cm from the floor or laying surface.
Directions for use Grill
Position your grill on a horizontal, stable, heat-resistant stand.
Before first use, check that all the parts are properly assembled on your grill
Check that the ash pan is correctly positioned
Your grill must be lit and the fuel kept red-hot for at least 30 minutes prior to cooking for the
first time.
Place a layer of charcoal on the bottom of the grill firebox.
Place solid fire-starter chips on your first layer of charcoal.
Cover this with a fresh layer of charcoal, taking care not to exceed the height of the firebox
Light the fire starters using a match.
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO LIGHT FIRE GRIL AT THE SAME TIME.
Vertical fireplace: STRICTLY reserved for the rotisserie. The engine mount and rotisserie
attachment are adjustable for optimal cooking.
Grilling your food.
Before you start cooking, make sure a layer of ash covers the fuel.
Your grill has 3 positions of grill height. Clip your grill into the most suitable position for
cooking your food.
As soon as you use it for the first time, your grill may become discolored due to heat. This is
normal and will not affect the quality or service life of the grill.
