BEFORE USING THE DEVICE, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY
AND CAREFULLY. CORRECT APPLICATION IS VITAL TO THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE
DEVICE.
INTENDED USER PROFILE: The intended user should be a licensed medical
professional, the patient or the patient's caregiver. The user should be able
to read, understand and be physically capable of performing the directions,
warnings and cautions in the information for use.
INTENDED USE/INDICATIONS: Treatment of deQuervains syndrome;
Scaphoid injuries; Gamekeeper's thumb; and Wrist and thumb sprains and
strains.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS: Soft-good/ semi-rigid designed to
restrict motion through elastic or semi-rigid construction.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: None
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
• If you have skin disorders/injuries in the relevant part of the body, the product
should be fitted and worn only after consultation with a medical professional.
• Do not use over open wounds.
• If pain, swelling, changes in sensation or other unusual reactions occur while
using this product, you should contact your doctor immediately.
• Do not use this device if it was damaged and/or packaging has been opened.
NOTE: Contact manufacturer and competent authority in case of a serious
incident arising due to usage of this device.
APPLICATION INFORMATION:
1) Release single pull strap and thumb straps. Position hand in brace with
cotton stockinet liner on top of hand. Thumb should rest on the abduction
stay. Make sure the Palmer stay is positioned comfortably below the palmer
crease and aligned with forearm.
2) Wrap single pull strap around wrist area and secure on brace. Strap should
be snug but not constrict.
3) Thumb straps should wrap in opposing directions and secure on brace.
Straps should be snug but not constrict.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
Hand wash in warm water using mild soap, rinse thoroughly. AIR DRY. Note:
If not rinsed thoroughly, residual soap may cause irritation and deteriorate
material.
WARRANTY: DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of unit and its accessories
for material and workmanship defect for a period of six months from the date of
sale.

USO PREVISTO/INDICACIONES: Tratamiento del síndrome de Quervain;
lesiones del escafoides; pulgar de guardabosques; y esguinces y distensiones de
la muñeca y el dedo pulgar.
CARACTERÍSTICAS DE RENDIMIENTO: Producto blando/semirrígido
diseñado para restringir el movimiento a través de una construcción elástica o
semirrígida.

ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONES:
• Si tiene trastornos o lesiones cutáneas en la parte relevante del cuerpo, el
producto debe colocarse y usarse solo después de consultar con un profesional
médico.
• No debe aplicarse sobre heridas abiertas.
• Si sufre algún dolor, inflamación, cambios de sensibilidad o cualquier otra
reacción poco frecuente al utilizar este producto, póngase en contacto con su
médico inmediatamente
• No utilice este dispositivo si está dañado o si el envase está abierto.
NOTA: Comuníquese con el fabricante y la autoridad competente en caso de un
incidente grave que surja debido al uso de este dispositivo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE COLOCACIÓN:
1) Retire la correa única y las correas del pulgar. Coloque la mano en la muñequera
con el forro de algodón tejido elástico en la parte superior de la mano. El dedo
pulgar debe descansar en el soporte de abducción. Asegúrese de que el soporte
de la palma quede cómodamente colocado debajo del pliegue de la palma y
alineado con el antebrazo.
2) Coloque la correa única envolviendo la zona de la muñeca y fíjela a la
muñequera. La correa debe quedar ajustada, pero sin limitar el movimiento.
3) Las correas del pulgar deben cerrarse en direcciones opuestas y fijar la
muñequera. Las correas deben quedar bien ceñidas, pero sin llegar a constreñir.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA:
Lávela a mano con agua tibia y jabón suave, y enjuáguela bien. SECAR AL
AIRE LIBRE. Nota: Si no se enjuaga bien, los restos de jabón pueden ocasionar
irritación y estropear el material.
GARANTÍA: DJO, LLC reparará o reemplazará en su totalidad o en parte la unidad y
sus accesorios por defectos de materiales y de mano de obra por un periodo de seis
meses desde la fecha de venta.
