involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. If the
supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. When the
appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use, since the proximity of
water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched o . For addi-
tional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the
electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
WARNING! Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins
or other vessels containing water. Remove all packaging materials
before using the appliance. Keep the packaging materials away from
children they pose a risk of swallowing and su ocation. Ensure the
rated voltage shown on the rating label corresponds with the voltage of the
power supply. Do not open the housing under any circumstances. Do not
insert fingers or foreign objects in any opening of the appliance and do not
obstruct the air vents. Protect the appliance against heat. Do not place
close to heat sources such as stoves or heating appliances. WARNING -
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not immerse the appliance and its plug in
water or other liquids. Do not operate the appliance with the wet hands.

particularly during use and cool down. When the appliance is connected to
the power supply, never leave it unattended. Always place the appliance
with the stand, if any, on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface. To avoid
overheating or fire, do not cover the appliance when it is switched on. Do
not use hair sprays, water vaporizers or any other vaporizers during use of the
appliance. Always turn the appliance o and hang it onto a hook, if any,
after use or when making a pause; do not place it on the edges of basins or
bathtubs. Should the appliance drop into water, unplug it immediately. Do not
reach into the water to retrieve the appliance.
