Scope of use
The pressure reducing valve-filter combina-
tion (DMF) Module DMF is tested according
to DIN DIN EN 13443-1 and can be used for
drinking water installations according to DIN
1988. According to DIN 1988-200, the static
pressure at an outlet should not exceed 5 bar.
The pressure reducing valve has been factory
preset to 4 bar, it complies with the require-
ments for noise control class 1 according to
ISO 3822, and it has been tested according to
DIN EN 1567.
Mounting of the Module DMF combination
into piping is carried out together with the

Due to hygiene and functional reasons,
the fillter shall not be used for well water
systems, as this might be classified as non
potable water. There is a risk of microbio-
logical contamination and clogging of the
filter in such a system. Industrial and process
water can be filtered with the DMF (Filter/
PRV combination). The used water must be
treated and free from bigger particles. Shor-
ter periods for processing a backwash are
recommended to avoid clogging.
