1.
Before each use it's proper to test the function. When signs of wear or damage is a use
permitted under any circumstances.

Greased spindle before use.
3.
Fix one double claw at the upper last possible end of the spring coil and the other claw at the
lower last possible end of the spring coil. Thus, the maximum tension distance is reached.
4.
Now you can move the compressor with the wrench tighten slightly until the claws be on the
spring coils and the spring tensioner not fall out, the assembly of the opposite spring tensioner
is facilitated.
5.
Mount, exactly like first one, the second spring tensioner on the opposite side of the spring
(fig.2). Screw the two spring tensioner now mutual. Attention! The jaws are not allowed to move
sideways on the spring coils and the compression of the spring must be stopped in any case
before I touch the spring coils.
6.
Compression the spring until the spring plate from the strut is free of tension.
7.
After demounting, the spring must be relaxed..

These notes are to be strictly observed. Only a long-term, trouble free and safe use of this tool is to be
expected.

Before tensioning the spring, check whether the thread is free of dirt and lightly greased.

Do not cleaning with solvents!
