This spring spanner offers, if used in accordance to this manual, a high level of precision
and reliability. Any application, for which this spring strut spanner has been designed,
requires a conscientious attention of all information and security advice given in this
manual.
ATTENTION
A spring compressor is not a toy and should not be operated by laymen, amateurs or other unqualifi ed
Personnel. This tool should be operated by qualifi ed and authorized personnel, only! The tool allows to
tensioning springs. Suitable for most front and rear axle shocks (with respect to the spindle length)

Before use, both the proper function and the ability to dismantle for the spring to control.
•
Insert the tool to so that it can not slip off the spring coils. Otherwise there is a risk of
passenger and / or property damage.
•
Avoid errors in the power transmission. Don't use impact wrench.
•
For older spring, it may happen that this break under load or material fl akes off.
Therefore, always wear gloves and eye protection.
•
Only use both spring tensioner to compression a spring, non-compliance is a high security risk.

Spring compressors are purpose-built tools and treat accordingly. So, avoid mechanical,
chemical or thermal effects which go beyond the stresses of normal use. The spring compressor
should never be used as a striking tool (accident and damage).

Should be noted, also the maximum load of the spring tensioner.
•
This spring compressor is designed exclusively for the compression of cylindrical springs on the
disassembled strut.
