• We recommend wearing a thin, tight-fittingT-shirt under the product.
• Position the back section centrally over the spine.The orange-coloured lower brace edge
closes over the sacrum. The back shell lies positively in the waist with the waist retraction.
Place your hands in the hand loops at the front 1.
• Guide the brace around your body and position the abdominal plate centrally at the front 2.
• Close VERTEBRADYN ® X.STRONG under the necessary tension. Make sure that the closure
plates lie positively on top of each other 3.
• Velcro the two lower tension elements under even tension over the abdomen and then the
upper tension elements 4.
VERTEBRADYN ® X.STRONG should be applied positively with high compression. This can
provide significant relief for the lumbar spine. When fitting with high compression, make
sure that it is comfortable to wear.
• The lower front end of VERTEBRADYN ® X.STRONG should be flush and parallel to the thigh
when seated and should not cause pressure in the groin 5.

• The back shell and abdominal plate are made of thermoplastic material and can be indivi-
dually adapted.
• The spring steel rods can also be individually shaped.
• For increasing mobilisation, the brace can be gradually removed after consultation with
the attending physician 6, 7.
• To do this, open the Velcro fasteners between the knitted and plastic parts.
• When the abdominal plate is removed, VERTEBRADYN ® X.STRONG assumes the function of
a bridging brace.
• When the abdominal plate and back shell are removed, VERTEBRADYN ® X.STRONG beco-
mes a lumbar support brace.

• The BAUCHPLATTE FÜR RÜCKENORTHESEN can be ordered as an option for the product. It
can surround prominent abdominal structures over a large area and thus support the weight
of the abdomen (Art.no. 17428).
• Optionally, the VERLÄNGERUNGSTEIL RÜCKEN can be ordered with the product. It is at-
tached ventrally to the closure plates and serves as a closure extension for larger circumfe-
rences (Art.no. 17400)
